Sky Zero - Concept
Concept and production
With Sky’s on-going commitment to climate change, the launch of Sky Zero in 2020 was to bring about change to how we go about our daily lives, aiming for net zero carbon. Sky has been active in leading social change to protect the world that we all share.
However, 2020 was a difficult year for the world, a global pandemic changed ourlives forever. The pandemic has caused the message of net zero carbon to be overshadowed and muted.
Picking up on our experience of the pandemic, we have all encountered being on mute at some pointthroughout the year. This could be on calls for work, classrooms or talking to loved ones. This year on World Environment Day, it is time to remind the public we’re not on mute when it comes to going net zero carbon. We haven’t shied away from our target of 2030. We’re confident in our approach.
A campaign was created in line with this message that would span across traditional printed media and across social media to pull the public in and to become a part of the message - that they too we're not on mute when it comes to climate change.
There will be a call for the public to be up in arms, for them to take ownership of change.
The public will be our voice.
